Hank, as he was temporarily named, was struggling to adapt to shelter life. Despite receiving behavioral and socialization training, he failed to meet the expectations of his new owners, leading to his unfortunate inclusion on the kill list. However, everything changed when a shelter employee stumbled upon a “missing dog” poster featuring a striking resemblance to Hank.

Barry Gearhart had been searching relentlessly for Titan since he was stolen about a year ago. The moment the shelter staff informed him of Hank’s potential identity, Barry rushed to the facility. Upon arrival, it took mere seconds for him to recognize his beloved dog. Overwhelmed with emotion, Barry wept as he embraced his long-lost pet, who reciprocated with an emotional display that confirmed his identity.
